Souther Cal Head Coach Pete Carroll announced yesterday that doctors revealed Dwayne Jarrett would likely miss the next two to four weeks of the season with a shoulder sprain.

Carroll commented, "We'll miss him tremendously. But the fact that Patrick is ready to go is good. He and Vidal will pick up the slack. But we're losing the all-time touchdown catcher in the history of the Pac-10, so that's quite a loss."

Jarrett has 20 receptions for 207 yards and three TDs on the season.
