| Pac-10 Week 7 Game Previews By Derek Wong Pac-10 Correspondent Oct 11, 2007 - 8:36:58 PM |
Stanford defeated USC last week in the biggest upset in college football history. Tavita Pritchard will get the start once again at quarterback. TCU is coming off a loss to Wyoming and the defense has had problem stopping the run. Stanford does not have a strong running game and the key to the game could be how Pritchard does against the coverage of TCU. Stanford has good weapons in WRs Mark Bradford, Richard Sherman, and Evan Moore. TCU will play two quarterbacks, Andy Dalton and Marcus Jackson, in the game. This could be a big letdown game for Stanford.

Oregon State vs California
Oregon State is coming off an impressive and dominating victory over Arizona last week while Cal had a bye week to rest their injuries. QB Sean Canfield threw two more interceptions last week and will probably throw a few more this week. The Beavers have a good defense and they must attempt to stop WR DeSean Jackson without CB Keenan Lewis who will be out for the game. RB Yvenson Bernard must get a lot of carries and help keep the explosive Cal offense off the field. The Beavers have the defense to keep them in the game but their offense is not good enough to win the game.

Washington vs Arizona State
The undefeated Sun Devils host the Huskies this Saturday as Tyrone Willingham's crew will try to stop a three game losing streak. QB Jake Locker has thrown too many interceptions and the offense has been stagnant. Arizona State is playing very well and should once again pull out a victory at home.

Arizona vs USC
USC is coming off a shocking loss to Stanford while Arizona got off to another bad start and lost to Oregon State, 31-16. Mike Stoops will probably be fired soon as he is one of the worst coaches in college football. Stoops, Bill Doba of the Cougars, and Karl Dorrell of the Bruins are all on the firing block. QB Mark Sanchez might be starting for USC as John David Booty could be out with a broken finger. Sanchez was a decorated high school quarterback a few years ago and should be able to do a fine job against the Wildcats.

Washington State vs Oregon
The Cougars could be without their top two starting wide receivers for this game. They don't have much of a chance against the vaunted Ducks offense. Oregon will cruise in this game as they rebound from their tough loss to Cal two weeks ago.
