For those who might want a sneak peak at what is on the horizon, take a quick look at the test site page here:

That said, here's a look at the few games on the slate we like this week:
South Carolina -13
Miami, OH -3
USC -20
Fresno St +5.5
South Carolina -13 v NC State
The Gamecocks return the entire defense from last year and 17 starters overall. NC St on the other hand returns only 10 and plays on the road in SEC country to open. The Cocks do have an untested QB but with as porous as NC St defense is South Carolina should still do well enough to win and cover. Be careful with this line though as it has been bet up since the open and is at 14 in some locations.
Miami, OH -3 v Vanderbilt
Miami features one of the best defenses in the MAC and Vandy will be starting an OL with no starting experience. Every player will be getting their first starting action and we think the Miami defense will give Vandy some fits. Our numbers project this out at 24-17 for the Red Hawks and that is good enough for a play.
USC -20 at Virginia
Virginia lost quite a bit from a team that was 9-4 last season but for those who remember that team the reality wasn't far from 4-9. UVA had 5 wins by less than a FG last year and snuck by trouble on a number of occasions. USC wants to have a good showing here and get the team some confidence with Sanchez under center prior to thier hure early season tilt with OSU on 9/13. We look for USC to roll it up on a team with OL/DL problems and we cannot see the UVA offense moving the ball much on USC's vunted defense. Our numbers peg this at 34-10.
Fresno St +5.5 at Rutgers
Our only dog of the week we take Fresno State for the Labor Day night game. The Dogs return 17 starters and have no problems playing the "Big Boys" so to speak. Though they have lost their last four road openers to BCS teams, they have done so by an average of 2 points per game. Last year FSU whipped K-State 45-29 and pummeled GT 40-28. We think they have plenty of weapons to keep it in the number against a team looking to find a repalcement for Ray Rice.
