"It is very important that the media make clear that those missing the bowl trip are not included because of either injury or for a violation of team policy.  It would be irresponsible to imply or state that any or all of the student-athletes will miss the trip for one particular reason," according to Associate Athletic Director Rob Wilson.  His statement was the first attempt at damage control by the 'Noles.

Early this week the University announced that 25 players were being investigated for potential academic misconduct stemming from what has been reported as alleged cheating on an online examination for a music history class.

The line prior to the announcement had Kentucky favored by less than a field goal, but with the recent news the Vegas casinos have all pulled the game to gather information.  At this writing there was no line being offered at Stations, MGM, or Ceasars.
